1. Change Your Filters

Regularly replacing or cleaning your air conditioning filters every 1-2 months ensures your system runs efficiently. Plus, it's part of our complimentary air filter program!

2. Swap Out Smoke Detector Batteries

Safety first! Make sure to change the batteries in your smoke detectors to keep your home safe and sound.

3. Check for Leaking Outdoor Spigots

A quick check can save water and prevent potential damage. Ensure your outdoor spigots are leak-free.

4. Maintain Your Water Systems

If you have a water softener system, keep an eye on the salt levels to ensure it’s functioning properly.

5. Set the Right AC Temperatures

When you're away: Set your thermostat to 76°F.

When you're home: Keep it at a comfortable 72°F. Remember, during extreme heat, our heat pumps can cool up to 25°F below the exterior temperature. Setting the thermostat lower won't cool your home faster but will make the system work harder.

6. Inspect Sprinkler Systems

Check for any leaks in your sprinkler system to save water and keep your garden green.

7. Cool Down Your Garage

Crack your garage door 6-8 inches for a few hours in the afternoon or evening. This simple trick helps excess heat escape and keeps your home cooler.
